Pole fishing with chopped worms and red maggots or casters tend to produce the best weights on this lake.
Anglers fishing with pole presented down the side will do well when fishing the smaller Strip Ponds, while anglers tackling the Specimen Lake using fishmeal or fruit-flavoured boilies do best, with carp over 30lb.
A well stocked trout lake. The trout lake is open all year round, with rainbow trout over 20lb and suitable for anglers with disabilities at lakeside-fishery-ranskill we care about you.
A café, toilet and hot shower are on site.
We are open from 6.45.
Snacks, tea , coffee, a full breakfast with tea or coffee for only £4.00.

Regular open matches are fished , autumn and winter leagues and club match bookings are welcomed.
